Privacy Policy for Glow & Go

Glow & Go (“the App”) is developed by the Glow & Go team (“we”, “us”, “our”). This privacy policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique user identifier provided by Apple. If you choose to share your email during sign-in, we receive that as well. We do not receive or store your Apple ID password.

Procedure data. You can log beauty procedures including the procedure type, date, time, salon name, specialist name, address, cost, notes, and photos. This data is stored in your personal account and is not shared with other users.

Photos. If you attach photos to a procedure, they are uploaded to cloud storage (Firebase Storage) and linked to your account. Photos are not shared publicly or with third parties.

Location. The App requests your location only when you use the “Nearby salons” feature. Your location is used on-device to search for nearby businesses via Apple MapKit. We do not store, transmit, or share your location data with any server or third party.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the App’s features (tracking procedures, reminders, spending, nearby salons).
To authenticate you via Sign in with Apple.
To sync your data across your devices.

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or tracking as defined by Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

Firebase Authentication (Google LLC) — to manage sign-in. Firebase Privacy Policy
Firebase Cloud Firestore (Google LLC) — to store your procedure data.
Firebase Cloud Storage (Google LLC) — to store photos you upload.
Apple MapKit — to search for nearby salons. MapKit requests are processed by Apple. Apple Privacy Policy

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can delete individual procedures (including their photos) from within the App at any time.

To request complete deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at the email address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

5. Data Security

Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored in Firebase with security rules that restrict access to your account only.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
